The American Australian Association proudly supports individuals pursuing graduate education, fostering groundbreaking solutions to global challenges, and nurturing artistic excellence. With scholarships of up to US$40,000, we assist Australian and Americans with tuition and living expenses at accredited institutions in the USA or Australia.

To date, we’ve awarded almost US$18 million to over 1,100 scholars, including veterans, researchers, and artists shaping the future.

Established in 2002 to provide much-needed financial support and assistance to American and Australian individuals to undertake innovative and transformational Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral study and research.

Veterans' Fund

Established in 2017 to provide much-needed financial support and assistance to American and Australian honorably discharged post-9/11 military veterans to pursue studies that build new skills and create prosperous post-military careers.

Supporting veterans in undertaking any full-time Undergraduate or Graduate level study in any disciplinary field.

Formerly the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund, the Arts Fund was established in 2002 to support American and Australian emerging or early-career artists to study or to undertake artistic development.

Supporting artists in the fields of theatre, film, television, dance, music, visual arts, design, literature, photography, fashion and more.
